These amazing raw vegan bites are the perfect snack for absolutely ANY time of the day! Morning, afternoon, night; they are constantly satisfying my sweet tooth. Since these babies are raw, I have no issue mixing them with smoothies. They will digest at essentially the same rate. 

Food combining is something a lot of my clients are unaware of, yet it is something you definitely need to take into consideration if you are looking to perfect your digestion. Combining things like raw fruits and cooked foods will never result in perfectly digested meals. This is due to the high water + fiber content found in raw fruits - which actually makes them digest 10x faster than anything that is cooked!

For an added touch, when you're finished throw some extra shredded coconut or oats on!! Gives them a little character. XO

RECIPE

PREP TIME: 5 MINUTES                      YIELDS: 

INGREDIENTS:

- 1 1/2 CUP RAW GLUTEN FREE ROLLED OATS

- 10 DATES

- 1/2 CUP SHREDDED COCONUT

- 1/2 CUP ORGANIC RAW MAPLE SYRUP

- 1 TBS SUNFOOD CACAO

- 1 TBS SUNFOOD CAROB

INSTRUCTIONS:

- BLEND ALL INGREDIENTS IN FOOD PROCESSOR OR HIGH SPEED BLENDER (STOPPING AND MIXING WHEN NECESSARY)

- TAKE OUT 1 TBS OF MIXTURE AND ROLL INTO BITE SIZE ENERGY BALLS // REPEAT UNTIL BATTER IS GONE

- REFRIGERATE FOR 1 HOUR + ENJOY!
